What is Just Call Me Mo's future?
Creating dedicated channels/accounts for all my different interests or using them all together to create a unique personal brand?
That is the question I’ve been thinking about for the past few days. For the life of me, I can’t figure out if I want to share all parts of my life on my “Just Call Me Mo” accounts or if I should seperate them to serve specific niche’s. They always say “riches are in the niches” but at the same time, we’ve seen the rise of personal brands and how important it is to show all parts of you.
Right now, I have three different TikTok accounts for example: one where I share about the cat I adopted a few days ago, one where I share my journey of saving money, and one where I share things about my horse. This also means, I spread my focus across multiple accounts instead of just putting all my effort towards finally making one a bit more successful. Should I just combine these topics or will that leave my small audience confused as to what “my thing” is? In addition, I’d also like to share things about growing food and slowly transforming my garden.
When I think about it, I always come back to these topics that play a big part in my life:
- Horses – specifically my own
- Cats – specifically my own
- Building things
- Finances / entrepreneurship
In theory it should be doable to create one account that covers all these topics right? It would also leave some flexibility to not post about my horse or cat when there isn’t really anything substantial to post about. At the same time though, it feels like it could be a bit “much”.
With my account about savings, for example, I post daily updates. Wouldn’t it be weird if I had daily finance updates and at the same time post videos about my cat, horse, or building random things?
I think this is something I will think about a bit longer, and I hope I will come up with the right solution soon. Now though, I’m going to go to bed because tomorrow offers a schedule filled with classes.
Good night!
